Make Me An Offer
I recently spent some time in hospital having a second hip replacement operation and in between taking all the pain killers I could get I did some serious thinking.
My home, Finca La Avellana is for sale. It’s been our family home for more than 12 years now and it gave us a living when we first came to Spain (we did holiday rentals in the two ground floor one bedroomed apartments) and a wonderful life as my kids grew up here. We stopped renting when the kids squatted the apartments but they have gone now (well Louise, the second, leaves in a couple of weeks) and my wife Alice and I are ready for a new adventure. We want to experience South America but we can’t go until we sell the house. A situation that is probably familiar to many of you out there. Now, before my operation I was all for sitting out the credit crunch and waiting until we got what the place is really worth. After all we have a huge emotional attachment to La Avellana and to sell it cheap would feel like a betrayal, a devaluation of the life we have lived here. But my time in hospital reminded me that life is too short to hang around waiting for the perfect offer or Governments to sort the economy out! Every day is important and in years to come I don't want any regrets about not living life to the full when I had the chance.
So here is my suggestion. Take a look at the details of La Avellana and if it is of interest, talk to me about a deal. I will look at cash offers, owner financing, stage payments, resale payments, part exchange and pretty well anything else you can come up with! It costs nothing to talk and you never know, maybe we can help each other.
Finally I have added details of three other, cheape, properties where the owners need very quick sales for financial or personal reasons. Help them out of a jamb by getting yourself a bargain.
