La Rabita is one of the "larger" Costa Tropical fishing villages and boasts an attractive beach and adjacent secluded cove, a small selection of bars and restaurants and a lovely sheltered aspect beneath impressive cliffs. La Rabita also has some small convenience stores for daily provisions. It is 10 minutes drive inland to Albunol, with a larger selection of facilities, or a little further, eastwards along the coast, to the large and thriving town of Adra with supermarkets, restaurants, marina, etc. Access to Almeria airport is less than an hour; Malaga and Granada airports are approximately 2 hours, although this travel time will be significantly reduced when the new coastal motorway is completed.

The advantages of La Rabita are that it is a peaceful setting right by the beach and as such offers an excellent opportunity for holiday or investment in an area that is currently at the start of a development cycle. We recommend these 3 bedroom properties as an excellent opportunity for family holiday letting or personal use. The only draw back that I can see is that there is no communal pool but with the beach almost literally on the door step you will only miss it when you get your community charge bills. Pools are expensive to maintain!
