Neighbours are not too close, but there if you need them and the owners tell me that all the Spanish that live in the area are very friendly and helpfull.

The nearest village is 10 mins drive, where you will find a couple of shops and bar/restaurants. Another 10 min drive will bring you into Loja where there is everything you could need.

Granada airport is 30 mins drive, with Malaga airport just over an hour.

The owners are relocating in Spain, so if this house appeals to you, and it certainly should. Make a sensible offer and they may well accept.
