Pretty, spacious farmhouse & outbuildings with bags of character & original features for renovation! The property is a great DIY project and once finished would make a beautiful second home or holiday let.
The farmhouse is located in the heart of a pretty farming village in the region of Prekmurje (Pomurje). It is an unusual house as the facade is quite grand and detailed. Floors in the property are constructed from original wide wooden floor boards which are in good condition and can be restored. The ceilings are fairly high giving the property a spacious feeling. The outbuildings could be incorporated into the existing house, made into separate accommodation or be used to keep animals or as a garage.
The farmhouse and outbuildings are constructed in an ‘L’ shape which is traditional for this region. There are two double gates / entrances to the property. The land parcel that comes with the property runs around the whole house. Some old pig sty’s that were erected to the rear side of the property have been pulled down allowing more space for garden or its possible to make an extension here.
The land around the house is flat, great potential for a cottage garden. There are grape vines at the front of the property and near to the main door which give welcoming shade throughout the hot summers.

There are neighbours at both sides of the property but you are not over looked. To give further privacy Fir trees could be planed along side the fence that runs around the entire property.
External rooms: The outbuildings join the main house by way of a terrace / corridor. The roof on the outbuildings has been recently removed, re-battoned and replaced. The first room is a wine cellar below with a feed room above. The room size is 4.6m x 4.8m.
Beyond the feed room there is a large animal barn of 7m x 4.8m with vaulted ceilings. The room has previously been used to keep chickens but would make an excellent stable for anyone wishing to keep a horse.
The end room of 9.4 x 4.8 is a barn that was previously used to keep hay and straw and used as a garage for the tractor.
Graz and Mribor airports are both about 1 hour away and are destinations for regular, scheduled, Ryanair flights from the UK.
