If you want to go skiing in the Sierra Nevada I'd also allow about 90 minutes whilst Jaen city is about 50 and Cordoba about an hour. Mind you before you think about travelling you will want to take in the glorious scenery that surrounds Alcaudete itself. Situated in the Subbetica your local environment is superb.
