The property is not habitable in its current form. It is a detached partial ruin, located, some 8 km from the historic town of Loja on a plot of 18,000 m2.
A rebuild would be required but with about 200 m2 of built area you would have the potential to create 2 good sized letting properties or one large residence if required.
The 18,000m2 of land comes with a variety of trees and a number of olives.
This Cortijo is situated in a delightful, quiet spot, which has a constant-running stream nearby and the property has its own natural spring as a water supply. There is no electricity connected to the property at present, although a concrete plynth for electric connection has been installed. In this particular area, the locals have paid to have connections to both the community water supply and mains electricity - a new transformer and posts run along the boundary of this property.
The property itself consists of what used to be, many years ago, two houses, although the property is registered as one. The Cortijo affords wonderful long-ranging views across the countryside to the hills and valleys in the far distance.
