Girassol is a restaurant that started life as a large villa with a view to a self sustained lifestyle. To that end it has an animal shed and various breeding enclosures for chickens and more exotic wildfowl. It also has a vegetable garden.

If you go west you can even take the supply route the early settlers did to Sâo Cristovão the second oldest city in the state, which until 140 years ago was the capital city of Sergipe
